For my design, I wanted to try out the new Summer Fun Mixed Media Ink Bundle
Therefore, I used mostly all the new pigment ink except the blue.
I started out stamping the cactus and pot in pigment ink. The color of the pot was also colored in pigment ink. All you need is a paint brush with tiny bit of water and you are able to color!
I deiced to keep the woordgrain paper and pot in one layer. You may not notice, but it is cemented as one piece. I also used Rounded Rectangles Dies for the background (inked with Frosty Pink, Coral Berry). I love the gradient effect and thought it really makes the cacti pop. I used a Gel Plate for the inking, much like this one HERE.

Last but not the least.... you may have noticed the blue stripe background?
That was stamped with the stripy part of the cactus! I really really enjoy using this small set of stamps and die. They are truly DELIGHTFUL!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Sweet little cactus, Virginia, and I love the background you created with the stripey layer!!
Your ombre is fabulous...and the perfect background for this sweet cactus. Using the stamp for the blue stripe-y panel is a stroke of brilliance.
Fabulous Virginia. Great use of part of the layers to stamp the background.
Cute cactus card. Love how you stamped the background.
The squiggles of the cactus layer look great as a background. Interested in seeing it embossed.
