I recently bought myself two jars of Distress Embossing Glaze.
I also get to try out the new stamp from Penny Black "Plant Joy".
I started out with a piece of watercolor card stock that was sprayed with Distress Oxide Spray.
The hedgehogs are so cute that I took the two and paired them up.
This card is really is about simple stamping . The new Distress Embossing Glaze makes a clear and shiny surface once embossed.I have the Hickory Smoke and Speckled Egg.
I think this is likely the best kind of black embossing powder because it will not stray and make a mess! To make the sentiment a stand-out, I white-embossed "He makes all things beautiful in it's time" from the Bible.

To give the borders some extra interest, I die cut it with Dainty Dasher Die.

I have a soft spot for hedgies and Penny Black always illustrates them so well. Embossing glaze intrigues me...it creates such an interesting texture. I'm going to have to try it. In the meantime, thanks for your introduction to it...this is just a darling card.
