Hello friends!
I have an interesting card to share today.
Not only the products will interest you, but the border treatment is one of a kind!
What happens when you use the Illustrious Cling Stamp and Dainty Dashes Stackers Die?
These new Penny Black products are now available over Scrapbook.com.

I often mention that dies are expensive and we need to S-T-R-E-T-C-H the dies.
Today's post will remind you to look at your dies with fresh eyes!
But first, let's talk about the main image.
I decided to watercolor loosely with watercolors.
Again, I have been playing with ink-smooshing.
I am also VERY glad to report that I was able to use the acetate very precisely.
As a lazy colorist, this style of coloring fits me very well.
Last, but not the least, about the border, I used part of the Dainty Dashes Die and strung through a very fine strip of gold paper. Once it's strung through the loops, I cut and fit it over the card (about 4 inches). The border treatment elevates this card to another level. I hope my card gives you some extra ideas on stretching your dies!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Love the loose water coloring. I am very impressed with how you got the smooshing to work so precisely! Love the gold strip of paper woven through the Dainty Dashes die. Really adds a lovely touch.
Whoa! What a beautifully colored and detailed card. LOVE your water-y coloring and smooshing...so intricate looking. Also, lacing the gold through the bit of framing is pure brilliance.
