Add Tons of Colors Without Coloring!

Hello friends!

I have a super cute post to share. When I saw the cute images from Hot Diggity Dog (Penny Black), I can't help but smile.

Obviously, it would be super fun to color these images. However, I decided to use color card stock to interpret these darling images.

congrats on hitting all the right notes

The key to the successful paper- striping is getting a good paper trimmer such as THIS.

Based on the theme of stamps, I chose coral, orange and greens (Twisted Citron and Pine Needles) for the paper strips.

I then stamped the cactus from the set at the bottom with Distress Oxide.
I have made three cards from the Scooter Collection. Hope they make you smile.

Last but certainly not least, I want to thank you for your kind thoughts on my Father-in-law's passing. Your warm comments truly lift my spirit. The funeral went smoothly as expected. We are grateful.
Thanks for stopping by!

Cute card. The colors you used are perfect for the theme of the card and then stamping on the different strip of color is seamless!

A puppy mariachi band...what could be more fun. Love the way you stamped the cacti in similar colors to those vibrant stripes. So cute.

Love that first layout with the card stock strips and then the colorful stamping border at the bottom finishes it off perfectly!!!

Fabulous Virginia. The use of the stripes is great particularly in the colours.

A nice choice of colors for your card and the stripes would make for a quick card too. Adorable!
