Spellbinders July Club Kits Inspiration Blog Hop

Hello friends!

I am honored to be part of the Spellbinders Club Kit Inspiration Blog Hop.  This month's kits re absolutely amazing.  I am glad that I do not have to choose my favorites because I love them all.

For my first card, I am using Small Die Of the Month. for you -004

This intricate die speaks volumes ad it doesn't require much to make it shine.

for you -005

I added gradient colors to showcase the die and added ephemera from this month's Card Kit.

Small Die +Card Kit (Virginia Lu) - Copy

I think it's perfect for send this min slimline card with a gift card or check...!

for you -006

My next card is also about using the Small Die except I altered the length of the die and changed it up bit.  That's the beauty of this die....  you can change it to suit your design however you like it.

Card Kit + Small Die

I trimmed off the out edges of the die and added  strip on top to anchor the piece. I used the pattern paper from the card kit to make this a cohesive and colorful design.

 for you

The butterflies are part of the Card Kit and they fit perfectly in this.  I highly suggest that you make all sorts of die cut and just "play with it" and see what floats your boat!!!  Makes sense?

 for you -001

I hope you enjoy seeing what I created with this Monthly Card Kit. All products are listed at the end of this post with InLinkz.

Both cards are pretty. That set is so elegant. Love the idea of changing the size and using patterned paper.

Beautiful cards. I love how you changed the look of the die completely by using just a portion of it.

You really have an eye to picking both colors and patterned paper. I appreciate both cards; but the second one hugged my heart. Very clever when making second card to use part of the die - way to go to get more usage with different effects for your purchase! Pretty darn clever and looks terrific!

Both cards are so pretty and delicate. The first card really is my favorite though. Like the new mini slimline cards that we are all seeing these days. The die and all of the pretty ephemera are perfect for that card size. Lovely design for both!

I love how you ink blended the pink panel and had the color go from light to darker. I think it enhances the die cut beautifully. Thanks!
