I always enjoy using small set of stamps. If you are starting out in stamping, I highly suggest you to try using small stamp set like this. 
Not only it is easier on the wallet, it also makes you a better stamper.
I started out with stamping a border with 4 colors. I used the darkest color for the detailed stamping. To keep the scale and space in balance, this did take some planning.
Planning out a design may actually take a longer time than stamping itself. However, this really is very satisfying once you see the design comes to fruition.
I gold-embossed some of the solid leaves and even die cut out a few to add shine and interest. It is kind of amazing what a small stamp set can do.

Clever girl. The stamped frame and it's colors is lovely. Also like that you gold embossed some of the leaves to add a touch of class.
Such a cute card using the new mini set. Really like the sparkly leaves--lots of glitter, texture, and dimension too. Enjoyed the IG hop yesterday.
