Hello friends!
I am popping in to share one of the cards that I made with Cool Decades Stamp Set. Today's card was my first take with this stamp set. However, I didn't like the color placement, so I did my 2nd take. So, this card below was my 2nd take/a re-do, so to speak.
However, I think my first take still has some good merits and therefore, I think might serve a learning purpose. So, for the sake of sharing and learning, here it is!
What I love about this card is that I stamped the sentiment onto the the "Speech Bubble" image. I then cut it out and popped it up. This gives the card some fun and cute element.
What I didn't love are the color distribution of the image. The browns are on the right side and the orange on the other. Aesthetically, it didn't look symmetrical and pleasing to the eyes. When it comes to CAS card, these must be taken into account
This is a card analysis post and I hope you enjoy the share! I'd love to know if you enjoy seeing this type of posts. I will keep them in mind and hopefully, I will share more!
All stencils are 20% Off (July 26th only)

I do like the second version, Virginia, and agree regarding the placement of the brown colour
Very cool. Love the layered stamping. Must try. Hugz
Love the rainbow design in this set! Fun cards!
fantastic cards Virginia. Fun designs
Great stamp set and card! The second version!
How fun! I love the colors!
Those are cool cards and in such fun colors too!
So. Much. Fun!!!!!!
Think you may have been too hard on yourself because of the color placement on the first card. I think it adds interest and follows the funkiness of the 60s. However, I don't have your unerring eye for design. Like them both.
I agree with your assessment of the first card, Virginia, but it's still a fun card - love the sentiment!! Love the second card!
Fun card design.
Both cards are great! Love the vintage look of all the stamp set and all the cool sentiments.
I don't think the first card looks bad at all, though I do prefer the second card coloring. Both sentiments looks great too.
so pretty!!
