Altenew Craft-A-Flower: African Daisy Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

 Hello friends!

It's time to share another exciting Altenew Craft-A-Flower with you.
We are celebrating this month's Craft-A-Flower African Daisy with a blog hop!

If you arrive from the blog of Nenette S. Madero, you are in the right place.
Please visit Altenew Card Blog for ideas and inspiration.

First of all, I want to mention that Craft-A-Flower is one of my most favorite monthly subscriptions that Altenew offers. With each month, I am amazed at the designs of these die cut flora images.

Altenew-Craft-A-Flower-African Daisy Layering Die Set-Tree of Fantacy Stamp Set -Endless Florescence Stamp Set

This month's African Daisy is such a DELIGHT to create with. I set out to create my own blend of color paper. this time, I sprayed Altenew After The Rain Ink Spray all over the heavy card stock. You can get the entire Ink Spray HERE.

Once dry, I picked out each piece of the petal and leave based on the colors, shades and splatter.

The meticulous selection of die cut pieces did pay off. The unexpected burst of color and splatter give the African Daisy a huge boost.

I simplified the center of the Daisies as the flowers are somewhat playful and whimsical.

Ding--->Last but not least,... it's the background.  That Tree of Fantasy (yes, one of the layers) provides such a nice subtle backdrop. More reason to get a stamp set like that! It is not limited for stamping tree!

The foliage from the Tree Fantasy set really makes a lovely background. I look at your cards first and try to figure out how you have gotten the “look” and then go back to read each step. I would never have guessed the subtle texture was done by using tree foliage. So creative,

I really like the different colors of metallic sprays on the flowers. Very clever idea to use a single layer of a layering stamp for a background effect.
