Hello friends!
I am sure if you know this already... but I love to make pies! Making pies was one of the things I learned when I first got married. I acquired the skill by trials and errors. And yes, it was old-school--> following cook books! Yes, cook books seem so foreign now as the new generations rely on You Tube and Social Media to learn these skills.
This Perfect Pie Die Set offers so many pie-possibilities! I decided to make a pie with whipped cream on top.
I had a few whipped cream pies before, so I took the inspiration from that and "whipped up" a Lemon Meringue Pie. My son David loves baking and eating Lemon Meringue Pie. I bake often bake fruit pies, such as apple and peach. Thanks to him, I learn how to make Lemon Meringue Pie.
I added Vintage Distress Photo over the edges of each whipped topping. It is a bit labor-intensive, but it was so worth it seeing the pie coming to life!
I used the paper from this month's Card Kit. This background makes this design even more homey!

The pie is fabulous. The Vintage Photo Distress ink is perfect for color of the baked meringue!
Adorable card! My mom made many lemon meringue pies in her life. I make fruit pie, never attempted the lemon meringue but always enjoyed eating one.
WOW! What a delicious pie you have made!
Ooooh, Lemon Meringue...my all time favorite. Leave it to you to whip up the perfect pie. Just gorgeous.
I don't like pie but I LOVE this card!
Sweet pie card. I like to make my husband pies.
Love the pie! Lemon meringue was one of my Dad's favorites, and I made many of them over the years!
The meringue looks fantastic! I like the blending for the drops. Not much of a fruit pie lover, but will go for a good lemon meringue.
