Simple Stencil-Layering

I am popping in to share a simple stenciled project with the Spellbinders Stencils. 

Christmas Florals Die and Stencil Bundle from the Classic Christmas Collection 

 

Christmas Florals Die and Stencil Bundle is from the Classic Christmas Collection. It includes S5-599 Christmas Florals & Sentiments Etched Dies and STN-066 Christmas Florals Stencil.

 

  Together, it creates a lovely seasonal floral design perfect to welcome in the holidays through cardmaking. The flowers and sprigs shapes are amazing but adding in the stenciling for colored details or texture effect is sure to bring it to life!

This stencil set allows you to add ANY colors with ease.

As you can see, I used darker colors and shades of Distress Oxide Ink for the accent colors.

The coordinating die gives the die-cutting a very polished look.

The most remarkable part of this set are the sentiment dies! The details are so detailed and intricate. If you like this look of the sentiment, it will be a great addition for your Christmas card-making.
