Today's card is 100% spray-inked, stamped and die cut.

Bird Amidst The Holly
I adore this lovely die from Penny Black.
The bird and holly are detailed and are in perfect proportion for card-making.
I started off by creating a colorful background by misting spray inks onto the Bristol paper. The next day, I white-embossed the images from Birds and Blooms.
I then took out the same piece of color paper and made a die cut with the birdie. I purposely used the white die for the underlay. That way, the image will really pop against the festive and colorful background.

Noticed those teal and white droplets? They are the DIY Nuvo dots that I made previously. You can add the droples directly to your project as I had done so many times in the past. However, the ones that you made on a piece of acetate will stay rounded and domed. The hardest part is letting it dry over 24 hours. I tried to retrieve a few after 6 hours and they were still too soft and were ruined. I must say the DIY Enamel Dots can be achieved easily with the Nuvo Crystal Drops. I foresee a new Nuvo addiction coming....
I think I got really lucky with the colorful background. With the right stamps and dies, this card was quite effortless to make.

Your card is so lovely. The bird is wonderful. I think the colors you chose are excellent and the white die cut simply perfect. A an excellent hint about using Nuvo crystal to make your own dots.....brilliant.
