Like most of you, I am pretty selective when it comes to purchasing dies. After all, they don't come cheap. However, a die like this Marisa Snowflake Die is definitely worth considering.
Please note that there is a Anna Snowflake Die which is slightly larger (measures 2" x2").

This die may be small (1.5"x 1.5") but it can yield to good result and easy on the pocket ($ 3.99).
I tried my hands with a few new Distress Crayons. This time I am using all the softer colors and they are perfect for creating snowflakes. I used the Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass and Spun Sugar from #5 set.
For the snowflakes, I used Canson Watercolor paper. I find that it is much easier to spread and mix the crayons on the watercolor paper. I applied Distress Crayons onto the die cut and it took little time to create these colorful snowflake.
I also want to point out the wonderful large cling stamp "Tiny Hearts and Dots". I did partial stamping with the MISTI. Aren't the tiny dots adding so much textures and loveliness?
