Use a Large Cling Stamp to Create Borders

Hello friends!
DSC_0139

I am popping in with a quick post about Scarlet Majesty.

s

Previously I made two cards with the same stamp and I thought I must have done enough since the image is rather large and there is only so much you can do....wrong.

be filled with wonder...winter cheer
Details can be found here and here.

Just yesterday I decided to use it to create borders.
I was amazed how different it looks from my previous ones.

Merry Christmas-001
This card has to be one of the deepest/richest and brightest card that I made in the last little while. I know, sometimes I even surprise myself how bright my cards can get....LOL.

However, the vibrancy is absolutely fitting for the Christmas cards.

I did a lot of coloring layering and multi-step stamping with MISTI.
As you can tell , the more layers you put into each step of stamping, the more depth and interest you can achieve. Of course, I had to add some splatter with my Gold Wink of Stella.

Merry Christmas
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hope you have a great weekend!

Gorgeous design! I really like this idea of creating borders and then inserting the sentiment in the center. So very beautiful with those wonderful colors too!

Wow, a colorful, unique card. I never would have thought to use that stamp in such a way.....thank you because you make me think outside the box. Yesterdays video was a real treat mainly because of Misti. Today, I am finally, finally playing with Misti. Dinner is cooking, slowly, so the day is mine all mine.
