Altenew's 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Hello friends!
s
Hope you are having a fine day so far...
I am popping with a post along with my Altenew Team as part of the 25 Days Christmas Tags.
Tracey McNeely is doing this for the 7th year! Here is  more details about this wonderful event.
Please stop by Altenew Blog to see what my DT mates created for you.

To create a tag with Altenew products, I  decided to use a shape die. This truly is a no brainer.
Altenew's Halftone series are awesome and this is one of them.

Shop Altenew here
Shop Simon Says Stamp  Halftone Stamp here and die here

The largest die from Halftone Star is the perfect size for making a shape tag! Why not!?
After all, star shapes evoke significant meaning for the Christmas season.

As you can see that the design are not super spe-TAG-cular, but the shape and sentiment really took the center stage and SHINE!

Ding-----> Once you stamp and made the die cut, it is a good idea to CLEAR-EMBOSS the image. This leave the iamge stronger and sturdier, also it adds extra shine and texture!!

The latest Altenew Emboss Ink is the bomb!
I love the pad and ease of inking in the invisible emboss ink.

These are incredible! They're very pop-artesque (they remind me of Roy Lichenstein's work). Absolutely awesome, I think they'd be great year round. I might try black and white to see how that contrast works.
