Here is the break down of the techniques I used:
Multi-color stamping: with the help of MISTI or TH Stamp Positioner, you can stamp each image multiple times in various colors.
Alcohol Ink: You can lighten up the colors by using more Alcohol Blending solution. Here is the great starter kit if you do not have any alcohol inks yet.
Dry-embossing: This is when your matching dies come in handy. I used the die (SSS, Altenew) and Tan Embossing Mat
Hand-Stitching: the Silver DMC Thread can add so much details.
Alcohol Ink is not all about vibrancy, grunge and splotches, swirls.
Well, they are all that AND more.
Alcohol-inked cards can be soft, artsy, light and gorgeous.

The more you try, the more you will find out what makes the inking so unique and special.
As Forest Gump's mother would say....
"It's like a box of chocolate..."
You never know how your alcohol inked creation will turn out until they appear on paper!
I hope that you like this card! I had fun creating it!
And now the moment you have been waiting for....
I have two winners to announce.

Thanks for sharing your tips on these alcohol inks, Virginia - you've featured them so beautifully on your card today! Your card is exactly what you said - "soft, artsy, light and gorgeous"!
The feathers are amazing!!
I love both feather cards! It would be hard to pick my favorite. I love the look of the inks on vellum and that it is an artsy look but not the standard thing most people do with the alcohol inks. I am anxiously waiting for my new feather stamp and die set from Altenew, to arrive in the mail..
A beautiful card Virginia, the multi coloured feathers are gorgeous. Congratulations to your winners.
You're certainly getting the best out of the feather inks and dies...this is another beauty from your capable hands. The fact that you got so many techniques into this CAS card is remarkable.
Congratulations to your winners.
Love your techniques, Virginia! You are so talented.
Oh, I love the stitching!! This is fabulous Virginia!!
Stunning cards Virginia. And thanks so much for picking me as a winner. Very exciting.
Very pretty colors on the feathers.
