Instead of using ink, I used one of my favorites- Alcohol Inks.
Steps I took to create this card (products are highlighted):
~apply Alcohol Ink(see here and here) on Bazzill Vellum
~emboss the Gardenia in Antique Gold
~make the die cut and adhere them to Pale Gray card stock
~stamp the leafy background in Seashore
~embellish with Gold Glitter Tape and Pretty Pink Posh sequins

By the way, this set can be purchased as a bundle like the following.

Stunning work, Virginia, Jo x
Simply beautiful. I have been experimenting with alcohol inks....need much more practice.
Gorgeous cards! Love that beautiful flower. I have to remember to get my alcohol inks out... have not used them in ages!
Grey and yellow (or in this case gold), I'm in love. Don't really know what to say except, you're a genius. Using the vellum gives this bloom an ethereal quality that lifts it way up beyond the norm. Breath-taking.
This is so beautiful!!!
You always come up with the prettiest color combinations Virginia! This is fabulous!
what a beautiful card Virginia. The alcohol background looks outstanding and makes a great flower
Very pretty!
A breathtaking work of art, V!! Hugs, Darnell

This is the card that got me to rethink using alcohol inks! I contacted Ms Lu to ask how she did this beautiful card!
