Coloring with Distress Oxide

Hello friends!

While I am waiting for my new order of Distress Oxide
I thought I would...well, talk about Distress Oxide.

s

I am using this Penny Black Stamp Crimson Blush as my example.

I used Distress Oxide to stamp then color the image.
If you follow my blog regularly, I have done this PLENTY of times and it never gets old.

Ink like Distress Oxide is like an old friend that you know you can always "count on it"!
Since coloring the image was so easy, I decided to add one extra element.
I am calling it Low-Tech Foiling.

All you need are double-sided tape and foil (see product links at the end of this post).

I am pleased how this turned out and now call it a day....
Wish you a happy Saturday!

Love the roses. The addition of the gold foil strip really dresses up a card that was already beautiful. ! Love the low tech foil method and the Heat Wave foil works so well.

beautifully done Virginia. The colouring with the oxides is great. I only have three colours so far and haven't done this yet. Love the touch of foil at the bottom.
