Hello friends!
I am popping in with a quick post about this very ornate and detailed die from Spellbinders.

This die measures 4.15 x 7.10 in. and is meant to for creating a Gatefold card.
It is more than plenty to cover entire card front. However, I decided to create a regular card with this large die. I took an easy way out and came up with a simple design.
I cut down the doily-like die cut and added a strip of foil. As usual, my low-tech foiling works like a charm!

For the butterfly, it was part of the embellishment from February 2017 Card Kit.
This gorgeous metal die does it all.
Lastly, I want to mention that Kit and Caboodle is still available for purchase----> here

Talk about intricate...that die is incredible. Love the way you used it, too. Looks lovely over the green cardstock. Your touches of silver simply enhance it's beauty.
Lovely, delicate and simple. Those descriptive words equal and elegant card!
Just love how you used the gatefold piece as an embellishment, Virginia! Always nice to see multiple options for a die!!
The crisp white is just lovely over the rich green, Virginia ... so delicate and pretty ... perfect with that beautiful butterfly! Hugs, Anita :)
Such a beautiful card! Love it!
Gorgeous card using these dies.
Using the die as a doily is a good option and let's you have options as to how you can use the Spellbinder die.
Very pretty card. I am in agreement with you on low tech foiling. I Iike to use foil as an accent, not The whole focus of a card.
Virginia, gorgeous projects! That floral gatefold in white layered on the green = 💚
Wow - that is one fantastic die. Your card is awesome.
