Add Shine to a Stamped Image

Hello friends!
No matter how long you/I have been stamping, we always love to try new things, new products, new techniques and new tools and new....everything.

Today's card is my new way to add shine to a stamped image.

I am experimenting it with this new stamp from Penny Black.
First, I color-layered and stamped the images with Distress Oxcide.
you are so special

Since I have done this quite often, I find it so relaxing and fun to do.
Once I inked up the main image, I then ink-blended the colors to create a subtle background.

With the Ranger Emboss It Dabber, I lightly applied the embossing ink and heat-embossed it with the new-to-me Cosmic Shimmer Snow Cap.
you're so spcial

This card was actually my 2nd try. I made a mistake to cover the entire image with the embossing powder. Since it is not clear, the powder nearly covered the entire image and became all white!
"Know Thy Embossing Powder" is all I can say....  😁.

you are so special-001

I trimmed down the Scroll Half Edger Die and used only part of it. In the end, I just keep adding details including using We R Memory Keepers Heat Wave (using the edge die as a guide).

I hope that you have fun reading this post and see my process and result.

Lastly, I'd like to mention that I have designated a page "Latest Sales and Promo" specifically designated for, what else?  Sales and promotions. See on my top right side banner?  It will be continuously updated . Please be sure to check it out regularly.

Spring has finally arrived and I have been enjoying outdoor more. Taking walks in my neighborhood and keeping up with yard work are two things I enjoy doing regularly (and stamping, obviously! 😉).
Hope you have a great weekend.

Love the effect of the Shimmer Snow Cap embossing Powder! Also love the Silver added by the Heat Wave. Using the edge of the scalloped die is such a great idea. After seeing this I got out my Hest Wave and practiced!
