Watercolor with Gansai Tambi Gem Colors

I don't know about you, but one of the many stamped images I love are birds!

This "Singsong" Cling Stamp from Penny Black is absolutely TWEET!


I used the larger bird image for my card design. This bird image has so many details and etched lines. It requires minimum/little coloring.


I normally would show the entire coloring in the rectangle. However, I didn't like how the background turned out.

I decided to die cut the circle and stamp the sentiment "Miss you"and used it like that.
I actually like it better as our eyes are drawn to the birdie even more!

 I did not have any trouble using Distress Oxide to ink up the images first.

Once dry, I applied Gem colors to add the shine.
