Technique Tuesday #10

Hello Tuesday!
Time for another installment of Technique Tuesday!
This is my 10th post about sharing a technique on a Tuesday with Technique Tuesday
(...and say that 10 times fast! LOL).

For today's card, I am sharing a one layer!
Yes, one layer with depth, textures and colors!
Give Everyday the Chance
How do you do that?
Well, with the matching die, (and tan embossing mat and ink),  anything is possible.
For the dry-embossing, you need to use the Tan Embossing Mat along with the plates.
Give EVeryday the chance (2)

Many of you already know that I love using dies for dry-embossing.
So, here we go again. Once I stamped the images as a frame with MISTI, I colored the flowers in Distress Oxide.
Give EVeryday the Chance-001

To give the colors more interest, I use white Gel pen and added white dots.
By the way, I have tried MANY white gel pens in the past, this white Gel pen  is by far the best that I have used.
Give EVeryday

I love the white dotty details so much that I didn't think I need to add more embellishments.
Hope you like today's post! I am, therefore, concluding the series for now
until I have more ideas and products in a few weeks' time.
The kind folks of Technique Tuesday offered goodies to my followers/readers.
As promised, today is the announcement for the 2nd giveaway.

Your colors are soft and lovely. This stamp set is unique. Thanks for the water color hint, lately I've been using watercolor and not getting the vibrant color I want. I will allow more drying from now on.

Again, your dry embossing makes these flowers look like a diecut. Had to look twice to be sure they weren't then I read the narrative. Your colors are gorgeous and with that white pen, it really doesn't need anything else.

Your dry embossing intrigues me. I have not tried it; however that added subtle texture is wonderful! Your colors are wonderful, but the sentiment is so touching and true. I have a dear, dear friend who approaches each day with happiness and gratitude. This sentiment appears to copy her. White gel pens...thanks for the hint!

Your card is lovely! I had to look twice to realise what your technique was - the flowers look like they're die cut! So much dimension!
