The Magnificent Mandela Die

Hello friends!
How do you work with a large intricate die?
Today's card is about the magnificent Mandala Die Set.

(all inks are listed at the end of the post)

It is a no brainer to use this die as is! However, you know me, I like to add my own twist.
So, I took our a piece of watercolor card stock and sandwiched it between Tan Embossing Mat and die cut plates. I then dry-embossed the die and used it as my coloring paper.

I want to add textures and color with this die. This method seems to be quite effective!

It requires no special skills to color the image.
Totally therapeutic and fun.
miss you

I did spend some time to work with the sentiment by using Washi,  glitter tape and vellum and strings.

I hope that you are inspired by today's post!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Virginia, this is just lovely! I really have to use my dies for embossing - such an easy way to get a different look.

I'll say it is effective and so right up my alley. But those colors belong to you...such lovely detail to show them off properly.
