This cling stamp has a wonderful etched lines and grooves and is perfect for this time of the yearl
BUT first, let's do breakfast!
I hope you enjoy this breakfast photo...
this WAS my breakfast during the Iceland cruise. Yummy, right? I miss those days!

I created a colorful rendition with the new Distress Oxide.
If you follow you over Instagram, you may have seen the sneak peak of stamping this very card.

simple pleasures

I love using Distress Oxide in stamping on kraft card stock.
Distress Oxide can really blend its own color into the darker card stock.

Since I am too impatient to let the ink dry, I clear-embossed the entire image once I finished stamping the images.  Not only this sealed the colors, it also allows me to do "Emboss Resist" for the background.
While I was at it, I also took out the nozzle of Distress Ink Spray and sprinkled a few droplets at the bottom part of the card. You can see the tiny brownish drops? They are from Distress Ink Spray.

As for the white droplets? They are from White Pico Embellisher.

Hope you like today's card as much as I had fun creating it.

I will be featuring more NEW Penny Black Stamps and Dies in the coming weeks.
You can now get them over Scrapbook.com here

A note about ordering supplies: I ordered the new Distress Oxide (2018 Bundle) through Scrapbook.com and had them shipped to my son David (who now works in Michigan). The delivery and packaging were fantastic! In case you are not sure about ordering from Scrapbook.com, at least my experience was positive.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Your Distress Oxide blended leaves and berries are gorgeous, Virginia! I love how you clear embossed them and kept right on inking! That's good to know about Oxides and kraft paper together. Your breakfast looks better than my green smoothie this morning - another thing to love about vacations!
