Spellbinders Blog Hop (and a Photo Tutorial)

Hello friends!
warning-photo-heavy post

It brings me great JOY to share a Christmas project with you.
Today's post is part of the Spellbinders Blog Hop.
s
As you can tell from the banners, we are featuring the collections from

My project is from the collection of "A Sweet Christmas by Sharyn Sowell"
If you come from the blog of Sharyn Sowell ( Gasp! ....the DESIGNER of the collection!!), you are in the right place!

I am using Die D-Lites Mistletoe Doily Etched Dies.
This die comes with 3 pieces and can be used for many purposes/occasions.

from: Spellbinders

I decided to create a super colorful Alcohol-Inked paper.

Merry Christmas

Once I created the colorful paper, the rest was easy.
I thought it will be extra cool to make this a shaker element and that is what I did.

Merry Christmas (2)

Can you see the light pink and white sequins?

Merry Christmas

Since it's a mistletoe, it is only appropriate to add a twine bow, right?
I finished it off with the gold-foiled sentiment from "Santa Parade"
Merry Christmas (3)

My next card shows you an easy and creative way to use a silhouette die like this one...

(shop Simon Says Stamp here)

I took out the Altenew Artist Markers and  created a colorful background with gradient.

As you can see from the photos, this card came along together very easily.

love and joy

I took out the DCWV Glitzy Metallic Paper and added sentiment. I also stamped the background with "Halftone Squares"

Spellbinder's Die are made of high quality and great designs.
I hope that you enjoy the blog hop and got inspired.
