Altenew Build-A-Flower: Dahlia Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Happy March, my friends!
It's time to share another exciting Altenew Build-A-Flower with you.
If you arrive from the blog of Patricia Roebuck, you are in the right place!

 s
I decided to create a super colorful card with Dahlia.
After all, Dahlia comes in many colors and what better ways than showing off a few colors?
Altenew-BAF-Dahlia-Virginia#1

Like most layering stamps, it is best to try out a few color combo. With all the colors and shades of Altenew Ink, it was easy to stamp any type of flowers.
Altenew-BAF-Dahlia-Virginia#2

I simply follow the stamping instructions with the inset and tried the stamps out.To add some interest and textures, I ran the die along with the Tan Embossing Mat through the die cut machine.

I also took out the Artist Markers and added a few dots on the leaves. With the additional splatter and Enamel Dots, this card is complete.

Love the colors you used on your flowers. Looking at your card makes me feel that I can create nice stamped impressions with this Dahlia set. I tend to shy away from layering stamps because I feel I don't give justice to the stamped image.-Maria Giselle B. (https://ienjoywhatido.blogspot.com)

Bright and beautiful! And I love the added embossing, too! Genius!

I've noticed a lot of use of dots in creative ways and your use, Virginia, of the string of dots on the leaves is the first I've seen! I will try to be more experimental in my use of stamping and try that technique out. You make it look simple enough but adds so much to the card.
