Hello friends!
Hope you are having a great day so far....
I am sharing a quick post with "One Day At A Time" Stamp set.
With the release blog hop, some of you show interest in this stamp set...
some of you were intrigued.
some of you were intrigued.
My previous card is gender-neutral.
I thought it would be a good idea to see a different take with a feminine twist.
There are three things you can easily do in turning a graphic image into a feminine design.
1. focal point: always use the colors to your advantage! I used fuchsia, yellow, orange and purple. It's easy and effective.
2. the background: in this card, I partially stamped Book Club stamp image in the background. You can use any color with a floral stamp. I decided to match the colors with the focal Point.
3. embellishments: this is the easy part. Use sequins, glitter, bling...and enamel dots! For masculine cards, I tend to use almost minimal embellishments.
More about this card: the image was clear-embossed. I stamped the edges of the Focal Point with small stamp like "Shades of Love". I hand-stamped each line and glad that it turned out fine.
Hope you like my little "analysis" of this card!

Beautiful card Virginia! So fun to see this cool stamp in both a feminine and masculine version.
What interesting cards with the marble stamp! I really love the blue/purple version!
Love this marble design! Fun stamp!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the great feminine colours on the marble stamp. The inked outline flowers look perfect in the corners.
Gorgeous! I love the warm colored one the most!
Very pretty and thanks for the tips on making this feminine.
Nicely done. Loved the gender neutral care but, especially, what you've done with it with the feminine twist. Terrific "analysis" of your card and the versatility of this set.

Beautiful cards and idea. Hugz
Wow how interesting, never would thought to combine these two stamps together.
Both cards are so pretty! As you have shown, the marble stamp can be used for male and female cards with some simple changes. It helps so much when you beak down the steps in a card. I really appreciate it ( as do others)!
These are beautiful, Virginia!
I always love how you combine your colors and these are so gorgeous! Love the one with the flower accent especially!
Just beautiful. I love your color choices and how perfectly you matched the colors on the background stamp with the focal point.
