I started out with stamping the background with tulips. I used mostly primary colors and used orange as my predominant color--Netherlands's National color.
To ground the windmill, I also added an extra piece of Floral Lace Border Die.
I also stamped the sentiment in two tone colors and love the result.
This is my trio of cards with Stamp of the Month from Spellbinders

Again a very Dutch card, love it!! Not really spring yet here in the Netherlands, it seems more like fall with a lot of rain. But your cards brought some sunshine!
Gorgeous scene! I love those tulips!
Your scene with the tulips is so spring-like! We are still having overcast days-- have daffodils blooming around town, no tulips yet. Great to see your last several tulip cards( and the wooden shoes card-- my grandfather wore wooden shoes as a boy in Belgium).
Another fabulous tulip/windmill card. This is my fave of the trio.
That windmill is so pretty. Love the bright colours you used and the tulip background is gorgeous. Hugz
Fabulous scene Virginia. Love the tulips
