Add Details and Dimensions to Your Stencil!

Hello friends!

I have a fun and unique stenciled project to share with you.
Normally you would think stenciled cards are usually rather flat and has no dimensions.
 That is about to change when you have the right kind of stencil and pop-up dies!

I am using Altenew's Foliage Stencil as my example. 

This stencil is not sold anywhere else except Altenew Store

Here is the Star Flower Pop Up Die

Let's start with applying ink over the stencil.

 

I then use the applied more ink with the 2nd line details to the leaves.   

Once I am was happy with the stenciled background, I ran the through the die cut machine. 

This resulted in a colorful stenciled background with interesting dimensions. 

The color contrast shows even more  with the kraft card stock.
