Altenew August 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello friends!
Warning: heavy photo post
Yay, it's August Release Blog Hop from Altenew!
I am super excited to share three projects with you.
If you arrive from the blog of Laurie Willison, you are in the right place!

All the details about this blog hop, please visit Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog
This release is full of delightful images and versatile dies. You can see the entire collection here.

Featured stamp #1:  Wonderful Wysinanki Stamp Set
Altenew-SimplyTheBestStampDieBundle-Virginia#2 (5)
This stamp set is easy to line up. It also allows you to use any color that you desire.

Altenew-SimplyTheBestStampDieBundle-Virginia#2 (6)
I searched "Polish Folk Art" over Pinterest and all kinds of fabulous colors and design came up. My color inspiration came from one of the images and I had a ton of fun creating this card.

Altenew-SimplyTheBestStampDieBundle-Virginia#2 (5)

The key to a design like this card is about "Symmetry".
You can also stamp the images in a cluster and call it a CAS card.
Altenew-SimplyTheBestStampDieBundle-Virginia#2 (7)
Since it is a 100% stamped, it is most appropriate to use the sentiment "stamped with love".

Feature Stamp #2 : Simple The Best Stamp & Die Bundle
Altenew-SimplyTheBestStampDieBundle-Virginia#2 (12)

This set has large blooms and it is perfect for creating large-size flowers.
I love the simplicity of this set.
Altenew-SimplyTheBestStampDieBundle-Virginia#2

I used Mandala Die for the background and stamped the flowers with Antique Gold for the top layer! See the shine?
Altenew-SimplyTheBestStampDieBundle-Virginia#2 (1)

Do you see that the bold sentiment? Yeah, it's made possible thanks to the Altenew Obsidian Pigment ink. The ink stamps like butter!

Altenew-SimplyTheBestStampDieBundle-Virginia#2 (2)
The Golden Edge Washi Tape really comes in handy!!

Feature Stamp #3: Pleasant Pansy 3 D Die

Altenew-SimplyTheBestStampDieBundle-Virginia#2 (9)
Aren't these pansy divine?
Altenew-SimplyTheBestStampDieBundle-Virginia#2 (10)

I started out to create the pansy petals with Altenew Artist Markers Re-inkers Set A with vellum. As you can see, each petals has its own distinctive shape and details.
Altenew-SimplyTheBestStampDieBundle-Virginia#2 (8)

I followed the guide and was able to figure out the pieces quickly. In fact, I made several pansies in one sitting. Be sure to come back for more Pansy creations in my future posts.
For the background, I used Grid Stencil and Altenew Embossing Paste. This gives the extra dimensions and yet it it not overly distracting.

I hope you love seeing these new products in action! I sure hope that I "do them justice"!
