Mixed Media Fun with Gelli Plate

Hello friends!

If you want to see some Mixed Media project...today's post is for you.
I have been intrigued about Gelli Plate for a long time....

And finally, I jumped in on the sale over Simon Says Stamp and bought my Gelli Plate!
Gelli Plate comes in a few sizes (links listed below). From the largest
8" x10"to the smallest 3"x 5", there are a few options.  In the end, I decided to get the Gelli Kit ($21.99). The size of the Gelli Plate in this kit is 5"x5". And it also comes with a Soft Rubber Roller/Brayer (which costs $12.69 alone). It also comes with a case and a few accessories (3 small jars of acrylic paint, paper, yarn and punchline.

I set out to experiment and this is my first project with the Gelli Kit.

You may not be able to tell, but I did use the Beach Towel Stencil over the Gelli Plate to create the stripey effect.Once the paper was dried, I die cut with the Nesting Label Nesting Die and then stamped images from Charming Doodles.

I am not sure if this is a success, but it sure was fun to play with the new Gelli Print Kit.

I hope to experiment more and hope that I will have more new and exciting projects to share!

The Gelli plates intrigue me! Very pretty card, with beautiful colors! I'd like to explore doing some some mixed media cards.

Fabulous Virginia. I have a 5 x 5 plus a set of smaller ones. I don't use them a lot, but after doing the Altenew class and using it with inks... I love the backgrounds I have achieved. Love your colours and the patterns.

I haven't used the gelli plate, so I don't know how things should be or look...but this is FABULOUS! I'm loving the colors and what you did with the panel. :)

This is gorgeous Virginia!! I purchased the supplies for Gelli printing a while back but just have not gotten it all out and tried it. You’ve motivated me to give it a try 🤗.
