More Scene Card with Gelli Plate

Hello friends!
As I have been experimenting more with Gelli Plate, I have one more scene card!

Escape
All supplies are listed at the end of this post.
This card was my 2nd attempt. I actually tried to create the background without the image in my first try. But the inking application of Gelli Plate did not turn out.

I decided to stamp just the horizon (see there is a line?) and worked on adding colors to the background.

That means, apply Distress Oxide with the Rubber Brayer and then bring up the Gelli Plate and then stamp . Once I was happy with the background, I stamped the image with the help of MISTI.

To add subtle interest, I took out the leave die and dry-embossed it.
I wanted to keep the embellishment minimum, so I added some sticklers and that's it.

If you miss seeing my first post about using Gelli Plate with Scene stamps, check it out here.
thank you-005
I enjoyed the new way of adding ink to my stamping.

I think this one may be my fave of all your geli plate backgrounds, it is just GORGEOUS!!!! Love your color choices! I haven't been brave enough to do one of my scenes with the geli plate yet - maybe one day.....

WOW.. simply gorgeous. I haven't tried the geli plate, but you have certainly inspired me to give it a try.
Thanks for sharing.

Personally, I'm glad your first try didn't turn out because the additional colors and that gorgeous stamp make this card absolutely a knock out. Rich in color and texture...reminds me Autumn is coming soon.
