Stamped Art

Hello friends!

I have something artsy to share today.
s

I would never think I can do some sort of painted scene.
However, with the scene stamps like Wanderlust, you can!

First of all, I would like to show you a travel photo of mine. In the December of 2012, I took this picture near the famous Pisa Tower. There are green fields surrounding and across the Pisa Tower.

Those tress were actually really huge when you see the scale of the people and statue.
I remember roaming around the vicinity of the Pisa Tower and we even went to the cafe down the street!  When I saw the Wanderlust stamp, it reminded me of this part of Italy!

The scene seems to look quite complex. However, all I did was stamp the scene first, and then clear-emboss the image. I then painted it in watercolor.

I painted gradually with each layer. It was such a fun exercise!
You MUST remember this....when you paint scene like this, there is no right or wrong.
I painted in the sunrise and thought it fits nicely in the scene.

Once I was happy with the result, I dry-embossed the watercolor paper with the Leaf Frame Die
and stamped the sentiment.

Your card definitely captures the landscape in your photo. Your sunrise and sky make a beautiful backdrop for the row of trees.
