How to Use a Large Sentiment Die

Hello friends!
I am popping in with a post about using a large sentiment die.
s

Recently, I was asked to submit an Altenew DT projects with the Mega Die "You".
The size of this die is large to cover the most of card. When it comes to large dies like this, it is best to add color or you can do what I did....emboss!

You can certainly emboss the die without the Mega Greeting 2 Stamp Set.

To show off this die, I started out with stamping the  Mega Greeting 2 Stamp Set
and embossing the entire die with Caribbean Sky Embossing Powder. I repeated the process and embossed the YOU 2-3 times till it's thick. I then made the die cut and added an extra piece of YOU to strengthen it.

As for the rest? You can stamp a background , be it floral geometric...anything will do.  I then fussy cut the entire piece of pattern paper (Summer Garden).

It's a bouquet of flowers and I then adhered it to the background. I didn't mind fussy cutting the image as I was truly enjoying myself in front of the mindless TV....

Before you know it, you have made a CARD!
I hope today's post sparks your creativity!

Stunning Virginia. I've just got the large hello die so you've inspired me with this one, particularly doing the fussy cutting behind it.

Simply gorgeous...that fussy cutting added so much dimension...and stacking your ginormous"you" really added to it. As I said, gorgeous.

Really like the mega you die cut in that gorgeous blue! It really stands out and makes the card. The metallic thread looks so pretty under the die cut!
