Bellflower --Take 2!

Hello friends!
I am popping in with my 2nd take the August Build-a-Flower Bellflowers!
Today's projects combines my favorite two things-stamping and watercoloring.

The color palette from the B-A-F Bellflower Stamp & Ink Bundle was my inspiration. I started out with stamping only the outlines of the Bellflower on watercolor paper.
happy birthday

I then took out the Altenew Watercolor Markers and applied various shares of purple.
This didn't take long and was easy to do.

Once I was happy with the coloring, I applied gold-embossing powder to the very center of the largest Bellflower.

After stamping the stems and leaves, I wanted to bring out more green. I brought out the Misty Meadows Washi Tape and adhered it at the bottom of the card and cut out a few leaves to give this design a good balance.

The sentiment "happy birthday" from Inked Rose fits into my design perfectly. I also added splatter liberally since this is kind of the artsy vibe that I was going for.
