Hello friends!
Warning: Super-heavy photo post
Yay, it's February Stencils, Decals and Stand-alone Dies Release Blog Hop from Altenew!
I am super excited to share 4 projects as I was having so much fun creating.
If you arrive from the fabulous Mindy Eggen's blog, you are in the right place!
All the details about this blog hop, please visit Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog
First up, let's start with my favorite dies from this release!
#1 Feature products: Dotted Starburst Debossing Cover Die, Nesting Frame Dies
This gorgeous cover die can be used in many creative ways.
I applied the "Spotlighting" and "Inlaid/Stacked Die-cutting techniques into this card.
I lightly colored the focal point with Altenew Artist Markers and inked up the edges with Sea Breeze. The sentiment is from Ornamental Bliss Stamp Set.
If you are wondering how I got the blue ink onto the cover plate, please come back for a simple tutorial in upcoming weeks!!
#2 Feature products: Hand-Drawn Tile Stencil
This stencil not only comes in as TILES, it also has some beautiful borders. You are not limited to just create the tile look because you can use it for borders and frames.
For my focal point, I tiled the stencil and applied Altenew Embossing Paste first. I then added Nuvo Pure Sheen Gold Glitter over and that's it!
The Scrip Words Die Set was used in this card and next (4th ) card.
#3 Feature products: Tranquil Wings Stencil
I love adding gradient effect with stencils. This Tranquil Wings Stencil is perfect for that.
The Painted Orchid Washi Tape was adhered at the bottom and I ran the Dotted Swirls Dobossing Cover Die (one of my favorite) and did the "Partial-Die-cutting".
I added some details and shine with Crystal Stickles.
#4 Feature products: Fine Frame Square Dies, Open Blooms 3D Die Set
This clean and simple card has all the lovely elements thanks to the well thought-out dies.
The 3D flowers were created with Cherry Blossom and Green Meadow Gradient Card Stock.
I hope you enjoy seeing the new products and get some inspiration from the blog hop.
