Hello friends!
It is my turn to share Stamp Focus over Altenew Card Blog.
It gives me great pleasure to share Stamp Focus featuring "Dotted Diamonds". This large background stamp allows you to add glitzy details and fine design elements to your cards. You can emboss and stamp and apply it with many techniques.
With my 3 examples, I am sure that you can think of many more ways to use the awesome "Dotted Diamonds". Let's get started!
With my 3 examples, I am sure that you can think of many more ways to use the awesome "Dotted Diamonds". Let's get started!
For my first card, I stamped Dotted Diamonds in Antique Gold Pigment Ink. The subtle gold sheen from the ink is perfect with this background stamp. I then proceeded to stamp and die cut the flowers with Watercolor Blooms Stamps & Die Bundle.
The flowers and leaves were stamped in blue (Lapis Lazuli), pink (Cherry Blossom), orange (Golden Sunset) and green (Tropical Forest). I also stamped the small branches in brown (Almond Butter) and filled up the images with smaller stamps. The sentiment from Ornamental Bliss is just the right font and style!
To add the extra shine, I applied Gold Trim Washi Tape at the bottom. For the card base, I used my favorite Parchment Cardstock.
I took a different approach with my 2nd card. The Dotted Diamonds was first stamped in Persian Blue. I then cut out the square within Dotted Diamonds and set it aside. For my focal point, I created a cluster of flowers with Vase Fillers Die Set.
This was made easy thanks to the Cherry Blossom & Green Meadow Gradient Cardstock. Lastly, I use part of the "Framed Thanks Die" with Silver Glitter Tape and completed this card with some blue splatter (Ocean Waves) and Cool Summer Enamel Dots. I love how Dotted Diamonds elevates this fun and whimsical floral design.
My last card is an eye-catching one. I love Emboss Resist technique. My first step was to clear-emboss (Crystal Clear EP) the Dotted Diamonds. I then applied colors generously with the new Artists Watercolor 24 Pan Set.
To make the watercolor brighter and more prominent within the diamonds, I applied Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set. Next, I stamped the Watercolor Halftone in Silver Lake and die cut an extra two pieces to create a chipboard-like focal point.
I stamped the sentiment from Watercolor Halftone and added them on top of the flowers. The grey Enamel Dots are just perfect for this.
I hope that you enjoy seeing 3 totally different cards with one stamp set. As you can see, Dotted Diamonds is full of possibilities. I can't wait to explore some more with this stamp.

πππI would love it if you can leave me your comment over Altenew Card Blog.
