A Quick Card with Ink Smooshing

Hello friends!
I am popping in to share a quick card that I made a few hours ago.
This morning, I was itching to do some messy quick coloring.

The new Delicate Bouquet Stamp Set is just perfect for that.
I took out Crimson, Red Ruby Lagoon and Lime for the ink-smooshing.

I find it helpful to add ink with one color at a time. This really helped me  to strategically add the desired colors to the intended area.

👉 For those who are not familiar with ink-smooshing: basically, you take out a piece of acetate  (any packaging will do) and ink up the intended colors and mist it with water. you then carefully ink up the area that you desire with the acetate.

Be sure to have a piece of paper towel on hand, so you can quickly wipe away the brown splotches. I did have some, but it is not as obvious since I removed it as soon as they appeared.

The key is not to stress about specific area if it doesn't go as planned. This loose watercoloring always give you that organic and unexpected result. That is what I find it so appealing.

Love the loose watercolor look you got with the ink smooshing. Your idea of adding one color at a time is a good one and gives you more control of where the color goes. I would have green flowers and red leaves if I tried all the colors at once.
