This lovely die is from Simon Says Stamp's latest release "Send Happiness".
For my 1st take, I used my colored paper with Distress Oxide Spray.
This time, I used Metallic Paper that I created with Altenew Metallic Watercolor.
The results are pretty bright and shiny!

I also have Prima Market Watercolor. The price is much cheaper and the result is still pretty good if you don't want to invest an expensive set.

To create watercolor paper, all you need is Bristol or Watercolor paper and Metallic Watercolor such as Altenew Metallic Watercolor. Since I made a large sheet of metallic watercolor paper, I can easily die cut as many buds as it allows on a card.
All those etched details are what made this die so special.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

fabulous colouring on your flowers Virginia.
Just love your metallic watercolored flowers, Virginia! Those would be good for doing Kathy Racoosin's print-making watercoloring technique!!
I LOVE that blue and gold color combo... the metallic is soooo cool!
Very pretty with the metallics.
Both cards are really pretty, but the shine you got from your DIY metallic paper is amazing. I am quite taken by the card. Love the way you did the sentiment and the metallic thread (my favorite card accent, which you introduced to me through your cards).
OOOOH! The shimmer is gorgeous...lovely arrangement makes this card a show stopper.
Ooh the metallic shine is awesome! <3
