Using Up Leftovers and Make Art

Hello friends!
You most likely can all relate to crafty leftovers....
Is your pile getting bigger and bigger? Mine is!
I simply can't not part ways with my leftover pieces (when they are actually still good to use).

Previously, I made this card (Build-a-Flower Primrose) and ended up with 3 extra leftovers.

I decided not to toss them and instead... I made more Primroses and this was the result.

You probably can tell which were stamped and which were the watercolored ones.

I didn't want to spend more time to color-stamping the flowers. I quickly inked up a few and did ink-smooshing with Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers. I matched the colored closely and they do seem to look great together.
amazing

I also inked up the edges and left the center white. This really shows the color contrast.

I hope that you are inspired by the layout, colors and design.

I need to do this! I save the leftovers, but forget to use them! Your cards are so beautiful :)

I love the one where you frame the sentiment!

What a great way to get those leftovers off your desk. These flowers make a fabulous frame for that encouraging sentiment.

Love your "left-overs" card, Virginia! I also love the concept, but when I do this I end up needing a bit more of something so then I have "left-overs" from my left overs!!!!!

Love your left overs card! I really like how you combined the stamped and water colored primroses. Look lovely together. The flowers make a perfect frame for that sentiment. And yes, I can relate to the pile of left overs. I keep having to move them to a bigger container!

Wonderful bits card. I have several leftover cutouts from a paper pack page and just can't bring myself to toss them. Nice to take another look at them and create.
