best wishes -003

This die is not like the other. I  have never constructed an elaborate scene. At first, it seemed to be challenging to do. However, with the simple instructions, you are able to create this welcoming door! But this die surely was so very cool and neat to create with.

 Best Wishes -001

Let's start with the wood door, I reached for kraft card stock and distressed the wood panels (yes, the panels has its dies). I layered the glass panel with design paper and foil paper.

As for the column and frame, I used white card stock and they have build-in textures. EVERY piece fits beautifully like a puzzle.

What I love about the door is the mail box! However, I totally forgot to glue the door knob and left out the mail. I hope that is was not too obvious!!? AND can you see that this door can be opened? I adhered an elf ephemera (from the Card Kit) and it looked perfect!

This set also comes with a small wreath and tiny flowers. I decided to cut them up and looped them around the column. There are similar houses like this one in my neighborhood, so I drew inspiration from that. Best Wishes -002

I hope this gives you some ideas on this this fabulous die set. Spellbinders has die clearance sale  (up to 70% Off). I ma listing them for your reference/shopping.

Wowzers. So intricate but, oh so, clever and festive. All those details really make this entry way look fabulous. And it opens, as well. Stupendous.

What great details on your door. The elf is so sweet when you see the card opened up. The mailbox reminds me of the one we have.
