Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Camellia Outline Stamp Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

 Hello friends!

It's time to share another exciting Altenew Paint-A-Flower with you.
We are celebrating this month's Paint-A-Flower Camellia with a blog hop!

If you arrive from the blog of Mindy Eggen, you are in the right place.
If not, come and join the fun hop for ideas and inspiration.

For my take with this stamp set, I took out my latest favorite medium

Altenew-PAF Camellia-Artist Watercolor 24 Pan Set

If you are not comfortable with water-coloring, I highly suggest the Woodless Watercolor Pencils (linked below).  The fine tips allow you to get a better control of the water flow.

Every time, I used the Woodless Watercolor Pencils, I am almost always love how it turned out.
I kept the colors simple and it didn't take long to color the images.

For the background, I adding grey and a bit of blue. This is my first time using such colors for the background. I think it worked with the flower color scheme.

Also, the Woodless Color Pencils require NO sharpening. I only need to swipe the pencils to keep them sharp (if needed). I love the portability of these pencils. Hope you enjoy today's hop.

I have to get my watercolor pencils wet. The colors you show here are so lovely and look so vibrant against that background you created. The Virginia embellishments are just the right touch.

Oh, the orange and red look amazing together!!! Excellent idea

You achieved a very dramatic background with your color choices. It sets off the flowers wonderfully.

The intensity of the colors you got with the pencils is amazing. Makes me think of the results I get with "inktense" pencil -- and that is saying a lot because I love them.

So neat that you used the wood less watercolor pencils! Thank you for the encouragement as well with using these as a beginner watercolorist. It can be daunting sometimes to try new techniques. I am also quite in love with the orange!!!
