Hello friends!
I’m joining a fun Instagram Hop with Altenew today to celebrate the release of Altenew’s Mini Delight: Bee Kind Stamp & Die Set!Feel free to start the hop over at my IG HERE.
Here is my take with this small and yet impactful stamp set. I chose grey to stamp the background. The reason? I did the initial stamping with black for the BEE scene. It was SCARY because the bees are so realistic! Too many bees...
I was quite amazed with the details of the wings and decided to stamp a light background. I also made another version of this card with a bolder design and hopefully share soon.
The two-step bee stamped beautifully! I could not believe that it was that easy! Noticed that I have another bee? That bee was a "mistake". It was too yellow than I had envisioned and was going to toss it.... but then I decided to use it as part of the dimension. It worked!
The coordinating die takes this design up another notch. Seriously, this is what a good design of a stamp set is about.
To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $20 gift certificate to 5 lucky winners! For a chance to win, please follow @altenewllc and leave a comment on each stop on this Instagram Hop. Meanwhile, please also follow me on my Instagram (yesvirginialu)
