Hello friends!
I am excited to share another project with using just one single border die.
Sometimes, I am overwhelmed with the abundant choices of products that we can get to create.
If you ever feel overwhelmed like I do, just take out one single product and ask yourself.... : " Now what can I do with this?
In this case with the Fern Border , I decided to " volumize" the dies, namely, add fullness.
To create the illusion of volumes, I used the negative part of the border die as a stencil and added more fern. This proves to be effective, economical and....perfect. No special blending tool required. ANY blending tools that you have will all work!
Last part of the process? Add lots of JOY (the white droplets/splatter and gold sequins).
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Awesome dimension, and so elegant!!!
Absolutely beautiful card made with
this one little border die!
Such a pleasing design, Virginia! I'm craving fresh greens like these!
Fabulous design and idea - love it!!!
LOTS of impact this die creates on your lovely card. Using it as a stencil to increase the volume was an amazing idea. And that sentiment is perfect.
Beautiful card and I get overwhelmed too.
Such a lovely, lovely card, Virginia!!
What a beautiful card! It has two of my favorite things--ferns and beautiful shades of green. It is a very elegant card. Love the touch of gold on the sentiment as well. I never think of doing something like that. The gold sequins finish off the card perfectly!
I like the placement for the middle. Looks great layered up.
Tremendously lovely design. We are fortunate to have a swath of birches and evergreens in our backyard and the foliage here instantly calls to mind the latter.
