Hello friends!
Lately, I have seen more and more card-makers sharing their own gorgeous alcohol-inked paper. You may already know what you would do with the inky paper.
However, if you need more ideas, today's post may give you some inspiration. I am using the die on the right for my example. I started out by creating a multi-color rainbow-ish color paper.
The Alcohol ink colors are always so bright and vivid. I think that's why I keep coming back to them. I had a great time making the colorful paper. Once dry, I die cut three panels side by side.
I then carefully place the white border on top and glued the white outlines over the colorful alcohol ink. There was very little waste of alcohol-inked paper.
The trick is not to break up the mix of color, so the design looks cohesive. With the added patterns over the colorful paper, the design gets even more interesting.
Take away: when you have a piece of colorful DIY paper, simple try die cutting them! Use a border die, floral die or any die that has pattern to "break up" the colors . You will then create a special and unique design!
I hope this post piqued your interest in inking and die-cutting.
Thank you for stopping by!
