Hello friends!
I am sharing another take with Build-a-Flower Tree Peony.
Here is my first take with this gorgeous stamp set.
My 2nd take is a bright red one! I had seen really gorgeous pink peonies in my neighborhood, but not in this red-ish color. But it really doesn't matter, right?
Bright and beautiful flowers are always welcomed, whether they are real or not. Since the flower is taking the center stage, a nice subtle background is just what this card needed.
Dotted Swirl is one of my favorite cover dies. The effect is similar to Embossing folder, but the cover dies has all these tiny hole pierced into the paper.
The next thing I'd like to highlight about this card is all those golden touches: the gold Washi Tape, sequins and metal thread. You can say: these are a few of my favorite things ( can you hear Julie Andrew singing....!!?)
I sent this very card to Lisa Spangler, a dear blog friend, who experienced loss of Grandma. I think it makes her and her hubby feel loved and comforted.
I hope that you feel loved and comforted if you are struggling or experiencing a tough time.
Thanks for stopping by!

you have done it. again, created a beautiful card!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just beautifully colored. Never saw a peony in this shade of red. Mine are pale pink like yours, white and fuschia. What I love about both cards is the texture you've added to the background and all those clever Virginia touches.
Both cards are delicious, Virginia!! Your touches of gold are always fabulous!!!
Gorgeous colours!
I love the twine and sequin embellishments! Gorgeous flowers!!!
Two beautiful cards, Virginia!
Another gorgeous peony card. Mine have bloomed and are starting to fade. They are a deep pink.
Great layers and textures. I like that embossing folder. It makes great backgrounds.
Love the touches of gold on the latest tree peony card. Gold is perfect with the red of the flower.
What a beauty Virginia. Love the gorgeous colours of your flower.
just amazing!!
Beautiful design and colors! Love the pierced swirl pattern for the background! That's one of my favorite dies too!
These are beautiful!
