This month's set BAF Wild Rose is a classy and elegant one that you definitely do not want to miss!
Build-A-Flower: Wild Rose Product Description: If you're a lover of wild roses, this set will hit the mark! This stamp set features a beautiful wild rose with cupped semidouble flowers. The flower image includes an outline layer and three coloring layers for the petals and the stamens. There is also has a branch bearing five leaves with an outline layer and three coloring layers. Eight uplifting sentiments and a couple of mini flower clusters finish off the set.
We love the inspiration from each month's release as each designer come up with various ways of using the same stamp set. Here is my own interpretation.
These are the color combo that I used: purple (Wisteria, Hydrangea, Plum), Yellow (Warm Sunshine, Citrus Burst, Pumpkin Pie, Chamomile, Butternut) and green ( Misty moor, Marshland, Managrave Root, Limeade).
TOP Tip: The unique background was created with Window Slats 3D Embossing Folder. There are two ways of using part of the 3D Embossing Folder. First, you can use an oversized piece of card stock and die cut it. Then you can trim the entire piece down to the designed size and leave some white space. The 2nd option is to dry-emboss only part of the images in your die cut machine. That was how I created my partial dry-embossed background with Window Slats 3D Embossing Folder.
The layering of this stamp set is really easy and self-explanatory. You can use as many layers as you like. I followed the instructions and had no trouble lining up at all.
Do check out the intricate and gorgeous branches in this set. They are perfect for adding design elements and details. I also stamped the background with one of the tiny outline stamp. Isn't it cute!?
