Hello friends!
As mentioned, I am back to share my 2nd version of the Craft-a-Flower Magnolia. This set proves to be so popular that it is already sold out over Altenew. Thankfully, Simon Says Stamp still has few in stock (see the affiliate link at the end of the post).
I gave myself a challenge to create various shades of Magnolia. The above was my first version. Both cards' sentiments are from the Pots and Plants Stamp Set (linked below)
I started out with creating a watercolor background. I swiped the blue marker from the Hawaiian Shores Markers Set on acetate. I added water and ink-smooshed the paper. Once dry, I stamped the leaves onto the watercolor background.
The colors and contrast of the flowers are surprisingly beautiful to me. I die cut many pieces from the Gradient Cardstock and did some mix and match. I highly encourage you to get various color paper to try out. The creative process is always part of the fun.
