Hello friends!
Warning: Super-heavy photo post
Yay, it's October Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop from Altenew!
I am super excited to share some 4 projects with you.
If you arrive from the blog of LauraJane, you are in the right place!
All the details about this blog hop, please visit Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog
Let's dive right in!
1. Featured products: String Art Rectangle Dies, Dot Botanicals
I love to add color contrast and details with stamping.
The image from Dot Botanical allows you to do just that.
By using the String Art Rectangle Dies, I was able to mask off the outer area and inked up the background. The best thing is that I was able to add "faux Stitching" to the frame.
This card may be one-layer, but it has has color contrast and depth thanks to the String Art Die.
Whether you are in need of rectangle dies or love the stitching and string art, this die is awesome to have in your stash.
2. Featured products: Precious Peony Stamp & Die Bundle
This lovely image was silver-embossed on vellum and colored with Altenew Artist Markers.
To match the colors of this image, I took out the Leaf Washi Tape for the backdrop.
3. Featured products: Hello Winter and Wunderlust
I wanted to create an inky artsy wintery nature scene card.
First, I silver embossed the the mountains. I then partially stamped and silver-embossed the sentiment Winter. After that, the trees were stamped in various of green.
The fun part was adding white splatter all over the card and left it to dry.
I love how it turned out.
4. Featured products: String Art Heart Die, Precious Peony Stamp Set
With the Bubble Wrap Stencil and Precious Peony, I created a very artsy and detailed background.
I then embossed the String Art Heart Die and overlapped the two hearts. The gold hand-stitching really makes this card extra special. It did take some time to create. However, I find it so relaxing, especially I can do this in front of TV. If you can sew a button, you can do this!
I then gold-embossed the sentiment to complete the design.
So happy I was .... when I finished with the stitching.

I love blog hopping...I'm seeing the botanical dot leaves stamp shown in so many intriguing applications, but I'll have to say yours is a favorite.
your winter card is so festive!
Amazing array of cards. Your stitching is dead-on perfect. (Something I aspire to. And your choice of colors and design elements is remarkable.
wow what a lovely collection of yummy cards - love your stamped flowers on vellum - just amazing !!
Beautiful. I really love this dot botanicals set.
Love the examples, thanks for sharing!
Your cards are wonderful!
Love the cards!
What a beautiful set of cards!! I love card no. 2 and 4! The hearts one is so creative and lovely :)
Virginia, these all are wonderful! The roses embossed in silver is sheer perfection!!
Beautiful cards! Love the last one with the string art hearts crossed over each other.
Oh man, normally when I'm this deep into a blog hop my eyes are starting to cross and I'm ready to bail (or I did bail 5 or 6 blogs in...), but there have been such talented people on this one, I'm still here, and I'm still impressed! Wow! Not a lot of people have chosen to highlight the Wanderlust set, but I'm so glad you did! Your card is so charming and lovely---and that little bit of spatter just completes it in the most satisfying way. But that heart card? Oh my. It's a wedding or engagement card suitable for someone VERY special. I love the way the pink polka dots from the Bubble Wrap stencil showcase the interlocking hearts, and the way the peonies are just peeking in from the sides--it's such a sweet card.
And the first one! I have to mention that one...it is so beautifully autumnal with the sunlight filtering through the changing leaves...so effective!
I adore the precious peony stamp and die set. I can see so many uses for it. I also love the card with the heart. Very cute.
Great cards! I love the flowers and the winter scene!
The florals are STUNNING! And I LOVE your Wanderlust card!

Great inspiration. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cards.
Fantastic cards! Striking designs and beautiful combinations of elements. I love the stitched borders on the first card, subtle but fabulous.
Love all your designs, I especially am drawn to the Precious Peony card with the lovely rose colored vellum peonies. The silver embossing and silver thread are lovely additions. The heart string art card is lovely as well.
The heart card is awesome! It does look labour intensive but the results are gorgeous.
WOW AMAZING CARDS! I really love how unique each of your cards are! Beautiful color combinations for each card too!
Oh so gorgeous.

I like your pretty variety of cards.
Wonderful cards - just gotta love that washi tape1
This is such a fabulous array of cards, love all of them Virginia! I must say all ANs florals are must haves in my book and I tend to gravitate to stamps more than dies, but this release the String Art die collection is climbing rapidly to the top of my shopping list. Thanks for all the inspiration!
Love the use of the silver embossing with the peony stamp set. Beautiful.
Just beautiful! Love the stitching detail!
I love your cards.... I love to do these blog hops.... yes, it's possible to win a prize but more than that .... all the inspiration and beautiful creations...... Love, Love, Love it....

Gorgeous!!! Love the silver embossed peony; so beautiful!
Great cards. Thanks for the inspiration.
Lovely cards - I especially love your first card - the warm tips of the leaves make me think of leaves in the Autumn as they are just starting to turn.
