Monochromatic Card

Hello friends! 

 I am popping in with a quick post with Monochromatic theme.

The sample I used is from Altenew's October release "Precious Peony" and "2020". 

I don't know about you, but I am loving peonies as I am getting older.
Perhaps it's because I have a very good Peony in my front yard?
 When it blooms every year in Spring, the sight of peonies just makes me so happy.
As soon as I see the peony images, I knew I want to create with it.

I love the clean and gorgeous outlines of this stamp set and created a border on top. For a change, I stamped it in blue and decided to add shades of blue and kept it simple.

 

 I then silver-embossed the stamp "2020" and stamped "happy wishes" in Obsidian Black.
My silver-embossing did not turn out as well as I would have liked...but I decided to leave it as it is.

You really do not need much when you have these gorgeous stamp sets. 

 I hope you like the simplicity of this card.
