Stamping with Vegetables (Part 1)

Hello friends!
Today's post is to ignite your imagination and creativity.
You read the title right, yup, stamping with vegetables!
That is not something new to me, but it ha been a while since I used vegetables for stamping.
I am using Precious Peonies for my example.

My intention of stamping with vegetables is not putting stamp companies out of business. 😁

Instead, I want to instill the idea.....
"You can stamp anything when you own your creative license!".
I have snapped some photos of the stamping of a Chinese Napa vegetable
( please see Instagram under "My Story", see highlight "stamp with vege" ).

I am using my absolute favorite Mini Ink Set "Misty Morning Mini Ink Cube".
Trust Your Creativity (2)

With the center of the Chinese Napa Cabbage, I stamped the circles in various inks to create a background. This little exercise was fun and once I am done with the cabbage, it does to my green bin (for compost). The prints from the Napa Cabbage were so beautiful that they made the perfect pattern paper for the "Precious Peonies". The sentiment from "Graphic Brushstrokes" conveys my mood perfectly.

With Partial Die-cutting, I positioned the peonies at the corner and then adhered it to the parchment paper.

I have another card created with the same napa vegetable print. I will share it if you are interested.
I hope that today's post prompts you to look at your everyday objects with fresh eyes.

What a brilliant idea...clearly, I need to go to the market. The pattern is so unique and the color...you are the best colorist. Such a fun technique...of course, we want to see the other card.

Super clever Virginia. I also haven't used veggies to paint/print for quite some time. This is fabulous.
